The Tuxbachweg trail from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Hintertux is an easy 10-kilometre walk and is suitable for pushchairs. The Tux Waterfall Trail is also an impressive experience for children, particularly in spring when there is plenty of meltwater.
The Hintertux Glacier is just around 7 km from Hotel Das Alois in Lanersbach and is easily accessible. From the Eggalmbahn, the hiking and ski bus runs every 10 minutes, taking you directly to Hintertux – ideal for a relaxing skiing or hiking holiday in the Tux Valley.
There’s plenty to do even in bad weather: the Natur Eis Palast and the Spannagel Cave on the Hintertux Glacier are weather-proof highlights for the whole family.
