For the youngest skiers, the Tux Valley offers three dedicated children’s areas where skiing becomes an adventure—complete with magic carpets, carousels, mascots, and plenty of fun.
- Eggalm Kids’ Park: right next to the Eggalmbahn mountain station—ski carousel, magic carpet, baby lift, and snow tubing, plus the Bärenroute kids’ run
- Pepi’s Kinderland at Penkenjoch: practice area with conveyor belts—in case of bad weather, Pepi’s Kids’ Club at the Granatalm offers a climbing wall, hockey, Lego Soft, a slide, and a movie theater. The mascot, Pepi the Bear, is often there in person
- Flohpark Hintertux: Practice area run by Gletscherfloh Luis with conveyor belts, beginner lifts, and a carousel—no ski pass required here

Most children’s ski lessons in the Tux Valley are for children ages 3–4 and up. At the three children’s play areas (Eggalm Children’s Park, Pepi’s Kinderland, and Flohpark Hintertux), even the youngest children can learn their first turns through play—under the guidance of experienced ski instructors right on site.
The Eggalmbahn is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and the gondola takes you to the ski area in about 8 minutes. The ski bus stop for the Hintertux Glacier is only a 3-minute walk away, and the hotel also offers its own shuttle service.
